BSP had its first annual Family Day in 2011 ...

There were normal family events, face painting

... bouncy castles ...

... and shady trees

But what's this line for?

Cotton candy! (& Neil didn't get any)

We played some sports

But this guy brought the house down

Everyone thought he was hilarious

Intentionally blank

he was speaking in pidgin ...

... which Neil doesn't get ...

... yet

In a total change, Neil went to Sydney in August & was thrilled when Roger asked him to join him at the University of Sydney open day (Neil graduated from there so it was special that Roger asked him to go along)

The Main Building that houses the main quadrangle

The lecture about psychology was packed

the Fisher Library

Port Moresby has some good places to see the view

Port Moresby Town area

Port Moresby Harbour looking to Fairfax Harbour (on the left)

Port Moresby Harbour

Closeup of houses on stilts at Hanuabada

Taking photos we came across this old woman

Who wanted a photo with Neil (& he forgot she was carrying a machete)

PNG celebrates Remembrance Day in July

There are marching bands

... a plenty

And Independence Day on Sept 16

the arrival of this boat is a highlight

it marks the trade winds season for traditional coastal trade

it was a busy day with lots of folk out & about

Great sunsets; there may be too many, but I couldn't choose between them
